Repair Warranty

Note for the VONIQ team Confirm the warranty period and remedy details in js/site-config.js before launch. Do not publish a warranty period that hasn't actually been decided.

This page explains what's covered when VONIQ repairs your device — whether doorstep or in-person — for how long, and what isn't included. It should be read together with our Phone Repair Terms & Conditions.

Warranty period

Our repair warranty period will be confirmed here once finalized. The warranty period begins on the date of your repair appointment, whether that appointment was a doorstep visit or an in-person repair at our repair location.

Proof of repair

Please keep your booking confirmation or receipt as proof of your repair date and the work performed — we may ask for it when you make a warranty claim.

What's covered

  • The specific part(s) replaced or repaired as part of your service.
  • The labour performed for that repair.
  • A recurrence of the same issue, on the same component, within the warranty period.

What's excluded

  • Physical or liquid damage after repair — drops, cracks, liquid exposure, or other physical damage occurring after your device leaves our care.
  • Accidental damage — unrelated to the original repair.
  • Unauthorized repair or tampering — if the device is opened, modified, or serviced by anyone other than VONIQ after your repair, the warranty on that repair is void.
  • Pre-existing or unrelated issues — components or issues not covered by your original repair.
  • Liquid/water damage repairs — given the unpredictable nature of corrosion, liquid damage assessments and repairs may carry limited or no warranty; this will be explained to you at the time of service.
  • Normal wear and tear over time.

Making a warranty claim

  1. Contact us at Voniq.ca@gmail.com or (431) 344-1030 and describe the issue.
  2. We may ask to inspect the device (at our repair location or via another doorstep visit) to confirm the issue is related to the original repair and falls within the warranty period and terms above.
  3. If your claim is approved, we will repair or replace the affected part at no additional labour cost. Where a repair or replacement isn't possible, we'll discuss a refund for the affected portion of the original repair, assessed case by case.

Inspection requirement

We may need to inspect the device before approving a warranty claim, to confirm the issue is connected to the original repair rather than a new or unrelated cause.
